I have an appeal in under the Fair Use Act and the laws regarding parodies.  I don't know if it will work and having been a trial paralegal for 16 years, I can certainly understand DA's position.  It was fun while it lasted though! Dumb me didn't realize that my last journal post would end up on the front page.  As its far too depressing with the light-hearted nature of my work, I figured I really needed to get rid of it.

This is why I cut down on drinking. Out at the local tonight, a few turned into well.... enough.  Hanging with a friend, did her terminally-ill Mom's power of attorney and DNR (do not resuscitate for you non-legal folks) last week.  I've done legal aid for 15 years and it still kills me.  My friend's Mom, who is in Hospice dying of cancer, now refuses to eat.  She's trying to starve herself to death now that the papers are signed and the doctors know she wants to die. When my friend was out of the room, Margie (her Mom) looked me in the eye and told me she just wanted to die.  She was completely coherent about what she was saying.  She's 82
